Christine D. Johnson paints out of her studio in the old sardine factory on Cannery Row Monterey, CA. Her work is showcased throughout the peninsula. Johnson began painting as a student of Louise Smith, a UC Berkeley Fulbright Scholar and honored UC Extension School teacher. Smith was Johnson’s mentor for many years.
